I am currently working on 2d background illustrations as a personal project, I'm also working on adding some motion to my images. The following illustration was based on a photo I took in Switzerland off the back of a boat. I created this complex vector illustration using adobe illustrator using vector brushes and the pen tool for the majority of the work. I then imported the file into After Effects where I recreated the clouds and water ripples so they would have motion. I really enjoyed re-creating this memory, I hope you enjoy it too!
